Job Description
Remote Travel Advisor helping Leisure Life Travel clients research and book cruises, resorts, hotels, and vacation packages. Building client relationships through sales, referrals, marketing, and follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients to understand vacation needs, preferences, and budgets
- Research and book cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel services
- Provide accurate information about destinations, travel options, pricing, availability, supplier policies, and reservation requirements
- Maintain professional communication throughout the client experience
- Manage reservations and monitor booking and payment deadlines
- Maintain organized client records
- Follow up with clients before and after travel
- Develop new client relationships and follow up with prospective travelers
- Generate referrals and encourage repeat bookings
- Grow the client base through sales and business development
- Market travel services through personal relationships, referrals, networking, social media, and approved marketing methods
- Learn to use approved cruise line, resort, tour operator, vacation package, and travel supplier systems
- Conduct travel research, prospecting, reservation management, and supplier education
Requirements:
- No previous travel industry experience required
- Approximately 15 hours per week commitment
- Willingness to participate in training and continue developing knowledge of destinations, suppliers, reservation systems, sales, marketing, and client service
- Coachable and willing to apply learned knowledge
- Motivated, dependable, and professional
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Reliable internet
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn sales, marketing, travel reservations, and client relationship management
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, marketing, social media, or travel is helpful but not required
