Job Description
Sales Insights & Reporting Manager optimizing retail and e-commerce performance through data analytics. Collaborating across teams to drive promo strategy and reporting efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of weekly sales and promo performance reporting
- Own and manage the promotional calendar across retail and e-commerce channels, ensuring alignment to revenue, margin, and profitability goals
- Track promo details including dates, pricing, discounts, and funding
- Analyze promo effectiveness (lift vs baseline, ROI, margin impact)
- Analyze competitor promotional behavior and deliver data-driven recommendations to optimize our promotion strategy
- Partner with Finance on promo forecasting, accruals, and actuals
- Collaborate with sales to incorporate promos into forecasts
- Drive reporting automation and efficiency by leveraging AI tools, including large language models and agentic workflows to reduce manual effort and accelerate insight delivery
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities tied to promotional activity
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience in sales analytics, promotions, or retail analytics
- Strong Excel / BI skills (pivots, formulas, data modeling)
- Experience working with weekly sales, POS, or promo data
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Ops
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate insights clearly
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLMs, workflow automation, or agent-based reporting pipelines)
