Job Description

Sales Operations Consultant at Medtronic responsible for sales data analysis, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. Supporting efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales performance metrics and trends to support decision-making and forecast accuracy
  • Create goals, processes, and reporting for service warranty conversion and service contract renewals
  • Support field processes such as quarterly business reviews and other corporate initiatives
  • Maintain and improve CRM data integrity, pipeline hygiene, and reporting accuracy
  • Support sales planning processes, including territory assignments, quota setting, and compensation modeling
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and performance KPIs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR) to align strategies and share insights
  • Assist with Salesforce optimization, user training, and tool implementation projects
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities in the sales process; propose actionable recommendations
  • Support ongoing initiatives related to sales enablement, compensation, and forecasting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
  • Strong skills in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
