Job Description
Promoter responsible for executing strategic merchandising displays at stores for increasing sales. Collecting market data, negotiating product spaces, and ensuring product positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the display of promotional materials and permanent or seasonal displays;
- Negotiate shelf space and off-shelf placements to achieve optimal product exposure;
- Verify and record prices and the correct positioning of products at points of sale;
- Keep shelves in good condition by removing products unfit for sale;
- Secure, assemble, and maintain island displays and endcap/terminal displays;
- Perform product counts and stock checks, suggesting replenishment orders;
- Identify and collect competitor activities and intelligence;
- Complete reports and conduct surveys as defined by the company.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Merchandising techniques;
- Knowledge of the consumer goods industry and market;
- Familiarity with integrated systems used in the industry (e.g., ERP or retail management systems).
