Job Description
SAP BTP Quality Engineer building reusable test automation for Seamless Migration, a company enabling organizations through business automation. Testing BTP services, frameworks, and integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and implement a reusable approach to BTP Test Automation
- Understand and analyze BTP Testing requirements and procedures
- Create, execute, and optimize BTP test cases, test automation, and automation scripts
- Design and implement the reusable BTP Test Automation framework
- Coach and mentor others on BTP Test Automation technologies and techniques
- Develop and execute BTP test plans, test cases, and automation, including manual testing when required
- Identify, document, and follow up on bugs and quality issues
- Utilize logging, monitoring, and other tools to provide information upstream
- Revisit BTP test cases and strategy to incorporate latest product functionality
- Report and document BTP testing status and results
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on use and troubleshooting of BTP services
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure high-quality solutions
- Manage multiple priorities and tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and only hold U.S. Citizenship; no dual citizens
- 5+ years of experience in Test Automation
- 3+ years of experience in cloud platform testing
- 5+ years of experience with Java or related programming languages
- 5+ years of experience with test management systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of Software Testing, Programming Languages, and Quality Assurance Principles
- Nice to have: 3+ years of experience building, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines
- Nice to have: 3+ years of experience developing and/or operating multiple BTP extensions and services from the technical side
- Nice to have: 3+ years of experience using Playwright with Java
- Nice to have: 1+ year of experience working with LLMs and building agents to integrate with development workflows
- Nice to have: Experience working in an agile DevOps environment
- Nice to have: Experience operating in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Nice to have: Experience with automated reporting
- Nice to have: Experience with ServiceNow, including building queries, automation flows, and dashboards
