Job Description

Experienced SAP HCM Test Consultant supporting SAP HCM implementation in life sciences. Responsible for ensuring high-quality system delivery in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing for SAP HCM solutions.
  • Design, maintain, and execute test cases and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
  • Validate end-to-end SAP HCM processes, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, Payroll, and ESS/MSS.
  • Perform integration testing with connected SAP modules and third-party HR systems.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution, working closely with functional consultants and technical teams.
  • Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide testing guidance.
  • Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and complete test coverage.
  • Prepare test documentation, test evidence, and status reports.
  • Contribute to test planning, risk assessments, and release readiness activities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, validation requirements, and project methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP testing, including at least 3 years focused on SAP HCM.
  • Hands-on experience testing SAP HCM modules such as: Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, Payroll, Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS).
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR business processes and their integration with Payroll and Time Management.
  • Experience with system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
  • Ability to create comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Experience using defect and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager, or similar.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
