Job Description
Remote Scheduling Support Coordinator matching caregivers with clients for a U.S. homecare nursing company. Managing schedules, communications and coverage from South Africa during EST hours.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule caregivers so clients receive appropriate care based on individual needs and preferences
- Match caregivers to clients based on availability, skills, personality fit and location
- Manage scheduling software, telephone calls, WhatsApp and email simultaneously
- Respond promptly to client and caregiver queries while maintaining high customer service
- Communicate schedule changes to clients, caregivers and the internal team
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, cancellations and last-minute changes
- Monitor daily schedules, ensure client visits are covered and escalate potential gaps
- Build positive relationships with clients and caregivers through professional, empathetic communication
- Collaborate with the wider scheduling team during busy periods
- Maintain accurate, real-time scheduling records
- Prioritise urgent matters while maintaining accuracy
- Identify problems early and communicate proactively with management when support is required
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written English communication
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking ability
- Comfortable working across multiple computer systems simultaneously
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
- High attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Monday–Friday availability from 14:30–23:30 South African time, subject to U.S. daylight-saving changes
- Must work on South African and U.S. public holidays
- Mandatory fixed fibre line with minimum 25 Mbps upload and download speeds and wired Ethernet capability
- Reliable power backup for load shedding or outages
