Job Description
Senior Accountant in remote finance team of a gaming company. Overseeing accounting processes and financial reporting in a global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Support the Treasury Lead by providing accurate data for cash flow forecasting
- Oversee end-to-end payroll administration, ensuring compliance
- Act as a right hand to the Controller, spearheading ad-hoc financial projects
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP/IFRS and lead the maintenance of internal controls
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Background in Public Accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) is a strong asset
- CPA designation (active) or a CPA candidate in the final stages of certification
- Proficiency in Excel (Lookups, pivots, and complex formulas)
- Experience with Sage Intacct is ideal
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and pivot priorities effectively
- A proactive, 'owner' mentality with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities
