Job Description
Senior Appian developer designing and deploying secure, scalable applications for Amatriot Group’s Army FASOR project. Providing technical leadership, integrations, code reviews, and developer mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced Appian-based solutions supporting the FASOR project
- Architect, design, and implement Appian applications, interfaces, and integrations
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across Appian and integrated Army systems
- Support integration, deployment, and sustainment of Appian solutions across Army enterprise and cloud environments
- Lead code reviews and enforce Appian coding standards, DoD secure coding practices, and configuration management discipline
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate Appian developers
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders, functional analysts, and end users to translate business requirements into automated Appian workflows
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, structure, and tooling in accordance with the PWS
- Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting applicable CDRL deliverables
- Provide technical leadership within the Digital Solutions Division and deliver secure, scalable, sustainable applications aligned with Army readiness and cybersecurity objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or another Engineering or Technical discipline, or four additional years of relevant professional experience
- Minimum five (5) years within the last eight (8) years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining software for engineering applications; understanding analytic and interface requirements; developing tools and interfaces; setting operational specifications; and formulating and analyzing software requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of hands-on Appian development experience, including process models, interfaces, records, integrations, and production application deployment
- Demonstrated application of DoD database and code security requirements
- Federal Investigative Standard: Tier 3
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active or interim DoD SECRET clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
- Personnel performing technical analysis of systems with privileged access must meet IA Technical Level II requirements per DoDD 8140.01 and AR 25-2 requirements
- Must be able to work East Coast hours
- Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification preferred
- Security+ CE or other DoD 8570.01-M / DoDD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification preferred
- Prior software development experience supporting the Department of Defense or U.S. Army preferred
- Experience with AWS, Azure Government, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD tooling such as GitLab or Jenkins preferred
- Familiarity with RMF, eMASS, and STIG compliance activities preferred
