Job Description

Senior Associate handling Salesforce administration and IT solutions for Active Minds nonprofit organization. Collaborating with technology leadership to optimize systems for mental health advocacy initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data integrity tasks, deploy user-centric solutions using declarative development tools, and create technical documentation
  • Serve as a contact for general Salesforce requests, utilizing our ticketing system and resolving user issues
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation to empower staff to create their own reports and dashboards
  • Implement customizations and automations within Salesforce to improve workflow efficiency based on user feedback
  • Provide configuration support and data maintenance for project management (ClickUp) and digital asset management (Google Drive) systems
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest sustainable technological practices to improve departmental workflows
  • Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and IT user policies, such as naming conventions
  • Work alongside IT contractors on specific projects and help manage the delegation of technical tasks
  • Participate in the evaluation of new software requests to ensure they align with existing technical infrastructure
  • Perform IT or database-adjacent tasks as assigned to support the broader technology team

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator (Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred)
  • High fluency in Excel/Google Sheets, including VLOOKUPs, Boolean logic, and data manipulation
  • Proven ability to create clear user guides and technical documentation
  • Experience using tools like ClickUp, Monday.com, or Jira to track tasks and projects is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Basic understanding of SQL/SOQL or other database languages is a significant plus
