Job Description

Senior Business Analyst powering financial intelligence for TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods. Manage financial analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting in the agriculture sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage KPI tracking, data entry, and reporting processes to ensure leadership has accurate, real-time business intelligence
  • Support revenue and COGS forecasting by maintaining driver-based models with current data and collaborating with finance and leadership teams
  • Maintain billing systems and processes for client software licenses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Conduct ad hoc data analysis and reporting to provide meaningful insights and summaries for leadership decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across finance, operations, and business units to gather data and translate complex information into actionable insights
  • Manage internal business reporting processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all financial tracking systems
  • Organize and prioritize tasks effectively amidst changing requests and evolving business priorities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, agribusiness, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or revenue operations
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex financial models
  • Proven data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into meaningful insights
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data and business metrics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on ambiguous challenges
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requests
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including finance, leadership, and business stakeholders
