Job Description
Business Analyst role transforming business needs into clear requirements. Engage with stakeholders, manage projects, and support solution delivery in maritime operations software company.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with external stakeholders to understand changes in business needs and capture/document requirements using brainstorming, interviews, observations, document analysis, and workshops.
- Work with clients to ensure project scope is balanced with desired business outcomes and overall value.
- Analyse business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into effective requirement specifications.
- Formulate and define development scope and objectives based on business, stakeholder, and solution requirements.
- Create detailed requirements and solution design documentation.
- Build wireframes and documentation to communicate ideas and workflows.
- Support the design and delivery of successful solutions — on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Self-organise work duties and set priorities.
- Perform the role of project manager for small incremental projects, overseeing time, scope, and quality management.
- Manage communication between other Helm teams and the PS dev team.
- Perform final QA approval as well as test plan and test case development.
- Develop training programs and materials for designed solutions.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent.
- BABOK certification is an asset.
- Experience with AI-augmented or agentic development workflows is an asset.
