Job Description
Sr Business Analyst for P&C insurance clients developing and documenting business requirements. Collaborating on product delivery and implementing enterprise web-based insurance processing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and documents business solutions for business problems and translates those solutions to technical personnel and sees those solutions through the delivery process.
- Seeking a Business Analyst with experience in implementing business applications and following through.
- Coordinates with the technical team during technical architecture design, development and delivery of product changes and enhancements.
- Participates in business and technical requirements reviews and seeks to improve the application workflow for the betterment of our customers.
- Responds to production issues in a timely manner and assists Strategic Outsource in their triage of production issues.
- Provides business guidance and support to ensure the future viability of the InFOCUS application.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business or Computer Science preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Property and Casualty Insurance experience required with relation to Business Analyst scope of work.
- Previous experience utilizing a core insurance application suite preferred.
- Experience with SQL queries and related tools required; other scripting language
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodology, SCRUM, JIRA
- Strong customer service-oriented approach yet be able to articulate and suggest other potential pathways of accomplishing objectives - never be afraid to ask, “what if”.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, juggle multiple priorities and function in an agile environment.
- Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
