Job Description
Business Analyst translating client needs into requirements for software development at Evertec. Ensuring compliance with regulations and testing implementations for quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into requirements, ensuring functionalities and rules align with client expectations, applicable legislation, and the project scope;
- Communicate requirements to the development team;
- Ensure timely and appropriate client communication regarding deliveries;
- Review business and product needs, instructions, regulations, and laws for complex projects;
- Implement these changes in the software using intermediate-level programming skills, performing testing and providing client support as needed;
- Create business scenarios that can be decomposed into test scenarios to ensure product quality;
- Be responsible for relationships with internal and external clients;
Requirements:
- Translate business needs into requirements, ensuring functionalities and rules align with client expectations, applicable legislation, and the project scope;
- Communicate requirements to the development team;
- Knowledge of Indirect Taxes;
- Advanced knowledge of Onesource Tax One, Tax Automation and Thomson Reuters Data Dictionary;
- Ensure timely and appropriate client communication regarding deliveries;
- Review business and product needs, instructions, regulations, and laws for complex projects;
- Implement these changes in the software using intermediate-level programming skills, performing testing and providing client support as needed;
- Create business scenarios that can be decomposed into test scenarios to ensure product quality;
- Be responsible for relationships with internal and external clients, using a structured requirements documentation process to assess short-, medium- and long-term needs;
- Ensure change management and change communication to the team are performed systematically for complex projects and/or product maintenance and evolution;
- Implement process or product improvements as indicated by management;
- Develop a strong awareness and understanding of Thomson Reuters technologies, products and services within the designated area;
- Contribute to defining business rules for creating new products and/or updating existing products.
