Job Description
Senior Consolidation Accountant assisting in accurate US GAAP consolidated financial reporting whilst providing technical leadership and improving internal controls.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and review of consolidated financial statements
- Maintain and review consolidation accounts including intercompany balances
- Extract, map, and reconcile trial balances across multiple accounting systems
- Prepare quarterly reporting package schedules and ensure timely submission of reports
- Prepare quarterly business unit balance sheet and income statement analytics
- Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules for consolidated financial statement footnotes
- Support special projects as requested by management
Requirements:
- Bachelors or master’s degree in accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- External reporting, consolidation accounting, cash flow statement, equity accounting and foreign currency translation experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven strong technical accounting background and research skills (US GAAP)
- Experience working with multinational companies
- Knowledge of internal control procedures
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems, statements and reports
- Advanced capabilities in Excel required such as comfort using pivot tables and index match formulas
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting or related financial reporting experience
