Job Description
Senior Consultant Insurance berät Versicherungsunternehmen zu Digitalisierung, Prozessoptimierung und strategischer Transformation. Eigenständige Leitung von Kundenprojekten und Entwicklung innovativer Beratungslösungen.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, optimize, and implement business processes with a focus on digitalization, automation, customer experience, workflow optimization, and agile organizational structures
- Independently lead client projects from planning through implementation
- Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets
- Identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions
- Actively contribute to the development of the consulting portfolio
- Support the development of forward-looking strategic concepts
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Sustain and expand your professional network
- Help shape transformation in the insurance industry, from process optimization and digitalization to strategic consulting
- Participate in internal decision-making processes
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training as an insurance specialist and/or a degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, business information systems, insurance / risk and insurance, industrial engineering, or a comparable program with a focus on insurance
- 3–5 years of experience as a project manager in the insurance sector
- Ideally, experience in management consulting or with an insurance company
- Ideally, knowledge of business process management (BPM), digitalization, workflow and input management, Lean Management, or process optimization
- Experience with insurance processes and an understanding of how to implement complex workflows efficiently and sustainably
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or other qualifications in operational excellence and process management are a plus
- Independent working style, strong self-organization, and initiative
- Empathy and the ability to advise clients as a trusted partner
- Creativity and a solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel to client sites
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for project management and presentations
