Job Description
Senior Data Product Owner driving Azure DevOps, data strategy, and data products at Nagarro, a digital product engineering company. Managing backlogs and stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and strategic alignment
- Translate existing documentation into actionable requirements, user stories, and work items
- Coordinate and align stakeholders across R&D, Finance, and IT
- Guide the development team throughout the SDLC and support efficient delivery
- Define and implement data strategies
- Promote Data Mesh principles and concepts
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of data products that drive business outcomes
Requirements:
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience in IT, Data Management, Product Management, or a similar field
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken (mandatory)
- Proven experience working with Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software development methodologies
- Hands-on experience in backlog management and requirements prioritization
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with Data Strategy and Data Products
- Ability to translate complex business requirements and existing documentation into clear, structured, and actionable deliverables
- Location in Bavaria is preferred
