Job Description
Senior Delivery Manager overseeing delivery management for client-facing projects at Unisys. Leading teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and managing complex client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate leaders and professional delivery staff, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of assigned programs and projects, ensuring execution is on time, within scope, and on budget
- Serve as a 24/7 Duty Manager every five weeks for a restricted account, providing immediate response to infrastructure and application availability issues requiring urgent attention
- Act as an escalation point for critical program and project issues, driving rapid response, coordinated execution, and timely resolution
- Manage executive-level customer relationships, ensuring transparent communication, expectation alignment, and high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with senior Unisys and client leadership teams to facilitate communication, mitigate risks, and address emerging issues
- Ensure appropriate resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload balance across delivery teams
- Monitor project and service delivery financials, including cost control, budget variance analysis, and optimization of profitability
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, issue management, and team operations
- Oversee performance and deliverables of third-party providers and subcontractors to ensure alignment with contractual and project requirements
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining high standards of execution
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree and 6–8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-7 years of leadership experience in delivery management, project management, or related fields
- Senior-level expertise in application delivery lifecycle management
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex service delivery environments and cross-functional teams
- Proven success serving as an escalation point for critical technical or programmatic issues
- Strong executive-level communication and relationship-management skills
- Ability to interface effectively with senior leaders in both Unisys and customer organizations
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities
- US-based resource located on US soil; East Coast location required
