Job Description
Sr. Director managing health plan partnerships for Marathon Health. Optimizing relationships and driving growth through analytics and strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for one or more health plan partnerships
- Champion the voice of the client internally
- Build and maintain deep, trusted partnerships with health plan teams
- Partner with the health plan teams to support competitive and strategic pursuits
- Develop and execute a short- and long-term strategic partnership plan
- Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion
- Proactively identify and assess risks across the partnership
- Monitor partnership KPIs and collaborate to implement strategies
- Partner with Operations, Clinical, and Marketing teams for alignment
- Collaborate closely with leadership and healthcare economics to analyze data
- Develop and execute partnership specific engagement plans in collaboration with our marketing team
- Mentor and educate internal cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive experience in health plan client management, sales, business development or client development or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior work within a health plan or with the health plan as your prospect/client
- Strong understanding value-based care
- Demonstrated expertise in client retention, growth strategies, and consultative account management
- Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret margin analysis and performance metrics
- Expert in Microsoft Office, specifically building your own models, and analyzing data, as well as building your own PowerPoint decks when needed
- Willingness to travel up to 20-40% as needed
