Job Description

Senior Manager, Engineering leading teams to deliver live event technology solutions at AudienceView. Driving software development lifecycle and fostering agile practices for high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of development efforts, including technical requirements gathering, scoping, design, development, testing, and delivery.
  • Lead and manage engineering teams delivering both core platform and custom development initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with business needs.
  • Drive execution and technical direction across complex engineering projects, including initiatives involving system improvements or modernization efforts.
  • Deliver high-quality software solutions that improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
  • Foster and champion agile development practices (Scrum/Kanban), leading, guiding, and coaching teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders, as well as external partners, to ensure alignment with delivery goals and commitments.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams by driving hiring, performance management, and career development.
  • Partner with leadership to align engineering efforts with strategic priorities and organizational goals.
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, scalable processes, and a culture of accountability, quality, and transparency.
  • Contribute to engineering strategy by promoting best practices and aligning with industry standards and scalable development principles.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager in a SaaS or technology environment
  • Strong experience leading and developing engineering teams, including hiring and performance management
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work, including both product and custom or client-driven initiatives
  • Experience leading teams working on complex systems or platform modernization efforts (Nice to Have)
  • Background in client-driven or revenue-generating engineering work (Nice to Have)
  • Experience in B2B SaaS environments (Nice to Have)
  • Exposure to industries such as technology, media, events, or other customer-facing platforms (Nice to Have)
