Job Description
Sr. Engineering Business Analyst working remotely in the U.S. at Grainger. Responsible for gathering business needs, examining data, evaluating APIs, and analyzing system functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Gather business objectives and user needs using structured elicitation methods.
- Examine data from multiple enterprise and operational platforms using SQL.
- Evaluate API specifications and integration mechanisms.
- Analyze system functionality and develop technical analysis diagrams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Finance or related field plus 5 years of related experience.
- Gather business objectives and user needs using structured elicitation methods such as surveys, interviews, and workshops.
- Examine data from multiple enterprise and operational platforms using SQL and related query techniques.
- Evaluate API specifications, integration patterns, and system interfaces.
- Analyze system functionality, data relationships, and platform behaviors across enterprise systems.
