Job Description
Senior FP&A Analyst at Revolution Space managing financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for U.S. Government projects. Collaborating closely with stakeholders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead/support the financial forecasting of revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, backlog, DSO, and other financial metrics on a recurring basis, including monthly actual analysis, fiscal year projections, and the yearly AOP and multi-year strategic plan.
- Support key weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting deliverables that track and communicate the performance of the business’ key metrics.
- Collaborate with management enterprise-wide to create forward looking financial projections for cash and backlog and provide accompanying analysis.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects, responding to evolving business needs with speed and accuracy.
- Perform multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs and preparing reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system.
- Collaborate with Business Development to understand and forecast pipeline, book to bill and backlog metrics.
- Support long-term strategic planning, including process development, presentation creation, and partnering between finance and strategy.
Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field & a minimum of 7 years relevant Finance experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant Finance experience.
- Meaningful and relevant FP&A experience supporting a U.S. Government Contractor.
- Experience supporting or building Annual Operating Plans and multi-year financial models.
- Expertise in quantitative analysis and presentation.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial information in support of the enterprise.
- Experience with multiple ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to government contracting and compliance requirements (FAR/DFARS, CAS, etc.)
