Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst supporting Thrive Market’s online healthy-goods marketplace. Modeling fulfillment, supply chain, and logistics costs while driving forecasting and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Support the operations organization, including fulfillment, supply chain, and logistics
- Own financial reporting and analysis for operational cost structures
- Support forecasting, planning, and strategic decision-making
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and variance analyses for operations and senior leadership
- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting fulfillment, labor, freight, and warehousing costs
- Analyze throughput, cost per unit, labor efficiency, inventory turns, and days of supply KPIs
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to analyze cost drivers and process performance at aggregate and facility/SKU levels
- Model the financial impact of process changes and capex/opex tradeoffs
- Lead ongoing tracking of initiative performance
- Contribute to strategic projects focused on cost optimization and operational efficiency
- Participate in annual planning, monthly business reviews, and cross-functional initiatives
Requirements:
- 3–5 years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical field
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with complex financial modeling
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets to draw actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Employment with Thrive Market requires that employees be based in the United States throughout employment
- Quarterly travel to fulfillment centers
- Experience with SQL or BI tools (Domo, Tableau, etc.) strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP/planning/forecasting/reporting tools (NetSuite, Adaptive, etc.) strongly preferred
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or CPG is a plus
