Job Description

Senior Full Stack Engineer building AI-first client-facing and internal swag platforms for Go Swag, a corporate gifting company. Developing secure, scalable backend and frontend systems with LLM-powered tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Join the newly formed Core Services Team supporting existing client-facing and internal platforms
  • Tackle product debt, build planned functionality, improve UX, and respond to client requests and new opportunities
  • Grow and maintain Plus, the client-facing swag platform for inventory, shipments, and swag relocation requests
  • Improve Glue, the internal platform supporting the Fulfilment and Ops teams
  • Improve Claim Pages, the swag redemption technology for branded gifts
  • Lead development of new Go Swag technology using an AI-first approach
  • Contribute substantially to backend development for Core Services
  • Lead frontend development across Core Services projects
  • Use LLM-powered development tools to build functionality quickly and at scale
  • Foster experimentation and rapid testing of new ideas
  • Oversee system architecture, database security, sensitive-data protection, performance, and reliability
  • Build scalable, maintainable, and secure software across client-facing and internal systems
  • Liaise with external development partners to ensure quality and timelines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior engineering role, ideally at a high-growth company or startup
  • Demonstrable expertise in backend or full-stack positions
  • Proven experience creating impeccable, pixel-perfect UI interfaces
  • Familiarity with code-generation LLMs such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and scalable application design
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with creative and pragmatic thinking
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, with a bias for action and outcomes
  • Python, Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Docker, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience
  • Basic frontend working knowledge
  • Alpine, HTMX, TypeScript, or Tailwind knowledge is nice to have
