Job Description
Senior Fullstack Developer at EX Squared LATAM building high-quality e-commerce solutions using PHP, Laravel, and Shopify. Collaborating across teams for optimal user experiences and code quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel
- Build and customize Shopify themes and storefronts, leveraging Liquid and Shopify APIs
- Integrate Shopify with backend services and third-party systems
- Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable code following best software engineering practices
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve performance across e-commerce applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack or Backend Developer
- Strong, hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel in production environments
- Solid experience working with Shopify, including custom themes, Liquid templating, and API integrations
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the context of e-commerce applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality and maintainability
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments
- Advanced English proficiency (C1) — able to collaborate with international teams
