Job Description
Ecommerce Manager for Cornbread Hemp, overseeing DTC website and Amazon presence. A high-ownership role focused on boosting revenue and optimizing customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own the DTC website (Shopify) — including product pages, collections, navigation, and on-site merchandising.
- Monitor and improve key conversion metrics: add-to-cart rate, subscription opt-in rate, checkout completion, bounce rate, and average order value.
- Partner with design and copywriting to build and test high-converting landing pages and PDPs.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives across product pages, homepage, and checkout flows.
- Ensure a seamless, on-brand experience across desktop and mobile.
- Coordinate with development resources for site updates, new features, and bug fixes.
- Maintain site health: uptime, page speed, broken links, and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking ecommerce KPIs across channels (revenue, traffic, conversion, ROAS, TACOS)
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance recaps with clear insights and recommendations
- Use data to prioritize initiatives and make the case for resource investment
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of ecommerce experience, ideally with a DTC brand in CPG, health & wellness, or food/bev
- Hands-on Shopify experience — you know your way around themes, metafields, apps, and the admin
- Experience at a brand with a subscription component (Skio, Recharge, Stay, etc.)
- Comfort with analytics tools: Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify analytics, etc.
- CRO experience — formal testing programs, hypothesis frameworks, or work with tools like Optimizely, Visually, Shoplift, etc.
- Strong project management skills — you're organized, follow through, and keep things moving
- Excellent written communication; you can clearly explain data and ideas to non-technical teammates.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Full benefits package — 401k, health, dental, and vision
- Generous product allowance (yes, really)
- Remote-friendly with flexibility; we're headquartered in Louisville, KY
- A small, collaborative team where your work visibly matters
- The chance to help build something you're genuinely proud of
