Job Description
Corporate strategy leader shaping AAA Life’s insurance and annuity growth strategy. Leading market analysis, cross-functional initiatives, M&A, partnerships, and executive-level strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Senior Director, Strategy to help define and drive AAA Life's strategy
- Develop and implement the company's overall corporate strategy aligned with business goals and objectives
- Conduct market and customer research and analysis to support near- and long-term growth strategy
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to formulate strategic initiatives, business plans, and performance metrics
- Develop and deliver reports, presentations, and communications to senior management, the AAA Life board, and AAA Club executive stakeholders
- Lead strategic projects and initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and product/service expansions, from ideation through execution
- Assess internal capabilities and resources, identify improvement areas, and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes and recommend strategic adjustments
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, strategic planning, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and partnering with stakeholders to advance strategic priorities
- Analytical capabilities using data, market insights, and financial analysis to inform decision-making
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling, business analysis, and executive-level presentations
- Preferred: Experience with a leading management consulting firm, including 3+ years of strategy consulting experience
- Preferred: MBA, master's degree, or equivalent advanced business, analytical, or strategy-related experience
- Preferred: Experience in insurance, financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry
- Preferred: Experience in strategy, operations, marketing, product, distribution, finance, corporate development, or a related function
- Preferred: Experience conducting market assessments, competitive analysis, and customer or industry research
- Preferred: Experience presenting recommendations to executive leadership and influencing strategic decisions
- Preferred: Experience mentoring team members and contributing to an inclusive, collaborative team environment
