Job Description

Senior Manager leading field reimbursement for Philips’ ambulatory monitoring products. Advising US customers and payers on coverage, coding, payment, and market access.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate and engage customers on coding, coverage, payment, health policy, and payer policy related to Philips products and services
  • Serve as senior reimbursement subject matter expert for Philips Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics products and services
  • Advise customers and internal teams on provider economics, coding, coverage, payment, health policy, and Medicare and commercial payer requirements
  • Ensure reimbursement information, resources, training, and customer-facing guidance are accurate, compliant, and clearly communicated
  • Develop and execute field reimbursement strategies to reduce access barriers, expand payer coverage, and improve payment pathways
  • Partner with field sales leadership to set regional priorities, support customer education, and drive reimbursement objectives
  • Build and maintain customer, payer, and stakeholder relationships through reimbursement-focused engagement, payer presentations, and provider education
  • Communicate complex reimbursement and health economic information to payers, providers, sales teams, and cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate with HEMAR, Marketing, Sales, Medical Education, Legal, and Compliance
  • Identify payer access challenges and develop provider economic programs and tools
  • Provide voice-of-the-payer and voice-of-the-hospital insights for internal strategy, product development, and market access planning
  • Lead annual reimbursement objectives, KPIs, reporting systems, and productivity tracking
  • Stay current on health policy, reimbursement trends, and industry best practices
  • Support change efforts under general supervision

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of related field reimbursement experience
  • Similar or adjacent monitoring experience strongly preferred
  • Strong proven experience with market access and reimbursement
  • Proven ability to operate in the field and present to varied stakeholder groups
  • Strong ability to articulate value in a field reimbursement role
  • Master’s degree or higher in a related field
  • Related certifications preferred but not required
  • Ability to successfully perform minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Field reimbursement medical device industry experience and knowledge
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% based on business needs
  • US work authorization required; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to posted locations
  • Ability to align to Pacific time zone core hours preferred but not required
