Job Description
Senior operations manager coordinating vendors, domains, app stores, email operations, and QA for Travel Hack’s private-rate travel platform. Driving launch readiness through evidence-based administration and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vendor research and prepare comparison memos with recommendations and supporting evidence
- Coordinate vendors and partners, including follow-ups, applications, and verification requirements
- Manage domain and DNS records, verifications, and handovers with the registrar and development team
- Administer developer accounts, business registrations, and verification requirements for the two major app stores
- Manage email marketing flow structure and segmentation for welcome, abandoned-cart, and price-drop journeys
- Handle contract and hiring administration and brand asset management
- Perform quality assurance passes on member-facing builds and support site testing
- Submit a structured written end-of-day report every working day, with claims backed by links or screenshots
- Map the vendor landscape and take over active follow-up threads during the first 30 days
- Deliver vendor comparison memos leading to decisions and take ownership of domain, app-store, and email-platform administration
- Identify operational gaps, recommend fixes, initiate obvious next steps, and close loops through external confirmation
- Work primarily in Asana with clear owners and due dates and attend a weekly Thursday camera-on operations huddle
- Escalate matters requiring leadership while independently handling and reporting other operational work
Requirements:
- 4+ years in operations, project coordination, or executive operations at a startup or lean company
- Excellent written English
- Full availability Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Central European Time, with a one-hour lunch
- Written-first discipline and ability to progress without waiting for meetings
- Evidence habit: deliverables must be supported by a link, screenshot, or confirmation
- Ability to track open items until externally confirmed and close communication loops
- Discretion handling vendor terms, pricing logic, and pre-launch plans
- Travel industry or online travel agency experience is a nice-to-have
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, including flows, segments, and deliverability basics, is a nice-to-have
- DNS and domain management basics are a nice-to-have
- App store developer account administration experience is a nice-to-have
- Product launch experience is a nice-to-have
- Ability to submit a cover letter beginning with “Tailwind”
- CV, preferably in PDF format
- Two-minute maximum, one-take, unedited, camera-on video covering specified topics
- Shortlisted candidates must sign an NDA before deep-dive interviews
- Final candidate must complete identity verification before onboarding
