Job Description

Senior Procurement Analyst working directly with clients to develop procurement strategies and implement solutions. Engaging in market research and managing multiple procurement projects across various sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with clients to understand their procurement needs, develop strategies, and implement solutions that enhance their ability to influence, spend and create value.
  • Support workstreams within various client projects for sourcing, procurement, category management, spend management, and spend analytics.
  • Conduct market and supplier research to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Engage directly with clients to perform stakeholder interviews, write reports, and conduct negotiations.
  • Support internal firm-building initiatives such as benchmarking, client research, white paper research and development, proposal development, and other internal projects.

Requirements:

  • Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Procurement, Operations Management, or a related field and 2 years of experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
  • o Utilizing procure-to-pay platforms;
  • o Optimizing procurement processes;
  • o Aligning procurement strategies with business goals through strategic planning;
  • o Analyzing procurement processes to identify and implement improvements;
  • o Managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously, ensuring completion within budget constraints.
  • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
  • Position reports to St. Petersburg, FL but may telecommute from any location in the U.S.
  • Must be willing to travel domestically 50%.
