Job Description
Senior Product Consultant leading intellectual property management solution demonstrations and consulting at Clarivate. Advising customers, shaping product strategy, and guiding complex pre-sales engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple complex pre-sales and solution consulting projects
- Oversee product consulting activities to ensure successful outcomes
- Define and implement consulting strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Drive continuous improvement in product consulting processes and methodologies
- Collaborate with senior leadership to influence the product consulting function
- Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions, requirements, and feedback
- Represent product consulting in strategic customer discussions and negotiations
- Mentor and guide consultants in project execution and customer interactions
- Support and co-lead consultative engagements
- Identify, develop, and share best practices, case studies, and process improvements across the global team
- Provide market and customer feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and cross-functional partners
- Provide competitive intelligence and defend solutions against competitive offerings
- Lead contributions to RFI/RFP responses and co-own executive summaries
- Lead and organize customer trials and proof-of-concepts
- Configure and set up bespoke customer requirements in demo environments
- Develop thought leadership materials and participate as a subject matter expert in marketing campaigns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- 7+ years of Intellectual Property experience
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role
- Experience working as an IP Paralegal (preferred)
- Salesforce experience (preferred)
- Presentation or demo experience (preferred)
- Previous experience in an IP consulting role (preferred)
