Job Description
Senior Product Designer crafting client products at Aligned, which provides subscription-based elite product and engineering teams. Leading discovery-to-delivery design, research, prototyping, design systems, and high-fidelity UI across remote Squads.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary design voice for the Squad and partner directly with clients to understand users, business goals, and constraints
- Lead end-to-end design from discovery through delivery, including research, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and post-launch iteration
- Conduct or guide user research and usability testing
- Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries
- Translate complex 0-to-1 problems into simple, intuitive product experiences
- Partner with product and engineering to ensure technical feasibility and high-fidelity delivery
- Present and defend design decisions to clients and stakeholders using rationale grounded in user needs and data
- Contribute to internal design standards, critique culture, and processes across Squads
- Support varied design needs, from UI polish passes to full research sprints
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on product design experience with ownership of end-to-end design processes
- Proven success taking products from concept through launch, including 0-to-1 work
- Strong command of Figma and modern design tooling
- Fluency in prototyping
- Experience building and maintaining design systems and component libraries at scale
- Working knowledge of user research methods
- Comfort running or synthesizing usability testing
- Strong visual design sensibility and sound UX judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort presenting directly to clients
- High attention to detail and time management
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Experience working within a remote and diverse product development team
- Ability to commit to working in the PST time zone or close to it
- Legally authorized to work in the United States, Canada, or Mexico
- A degree is not required
