Job Description
Senior Product Specialist growing Canvas custom-indexing sales for Franklin Templeton’s Southeast financial-advisor market. Explaining direct indexing and partnering with sales and investment teams.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and raise assets within the Southeast territory
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in direct indexing and custom indexing
- Partner with Franklin Templeton generalist sales teams to sell to Wirehouse, Independent, Bank, and Regional financial advisors
- Collaborate across OSAM and Franklin Templeton organizations
- Work with Client Service, Portfolio Management, Operations, Technology, and Relationship Management teams
- Travel 50–75%
Requirements:
- 10+ years of asset management distribution or specialist experience
- 3+ years of direct indexing experience and deep understanding of the competitive landscape
- Demonstrated success selling to financial advisors
- Experience with separately managed accounts (SMAs)
- Comfortable working with and explaining advanced technological solutions
- Effective facilitator of innovation
- Excellent communicator, including comfort with main stage presentations
- Passion for collaborating with financial advisors and improving their businesses
- Keen curiosity and ability to understand investment processes and practices in detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Willingness to travel 50–75%
