Job Description
Project Engineer designing client solutions and implementing network projects with client onboarding and technical support responsibilities. Focused on ensuring excellence in project delivery and documentation quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical onboarding for new clients including discovery, documentation, and environment assessments
- Design and implement network projects, including upgrades and migrations
- Develop detailed migration and upgrade plans aligned with best practices
- Maintain project documentation, ticket notes, diagrams, and overall documentation quality
- Ensure client systems are integrated into RMM and monitoring platforms
- Collaborate with teams to improve project proposals and deliverables
Requirements:
- Experienced Project Engineer with a focus on network engineering
- Strong technical knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, and network segmentation
- Ability to document and validate environment details
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Client Success teams to address technical priorities
- Track and report on KPIs
- Mentor junior engineers as needed
- Familiarity with MSP best practices (Active Directory, Azure AD, M365, security baselines, etc.)
