Job Description
Project Manager leading PLM software deployments at Aras, managing customer deliveries and project teams in Lyon. Fluent in English and French required, with experience in large enterprise projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all customer activities including quotation and timing development for new customer proposals
- Ensure that both Development and Partners (if applicable) provide accurate and timely feedback
- Develop statements of work, Professional Services quotations, and budgetary estimates
- Provide guidance and sign-off on statements of work, budgetary estimates, and timing plans
- Lead the creation of project deliverables including both technical and business elements
- Lead the Professional Services team in all aspects of solution deployment and business decisions
- Facilitate relationships and look to extend additional business
- Demonstrate project management capabilities as necessary
- Participate day-to-day in Project Management to ensure deliverables are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints
- Drive planning and execution for all project activity, leading all project communication, gate reviews, risk management, and open issue activities
- Prepare project status reports and maintain communication with Team, Management, Clients, and others
- Lead meetings with Project team and Client Personnel on business or technical discussions
- Supervise and manage project teams that may be onsite or offshore
- Manage project budget, timing, and quality of work completed.
- Create documentation related to the delivery aspect of the project
- Mentor and coach Project Managers.
Requirements:
- Fluent level of English and French language is mandatory
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science / IT, or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record in leading large, enterprise PLM software deployments in a Project Management role
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing PLM deployments with teams of 3 or more members
- Experience managing large Commercial and Enterprise clients
- Demonstrated experience with managing project budgets, P&L, invoicing, and billing
- Proven experience in one or more of the following verticals: Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Manufacturing (Industrial, Job Shop, Mass Production), Consumer Products, High Tech Electronics, Shipbuilding.
- Demonstrated industry knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Engineering change processes and best practices (CMII, CMPIC), phase gate project management, quality systems processes, requirements management, manufacturing process planning, MRO
- Must be able to travel 50%, primarily regional with frequent 2-to-3-day trips
- PMP certification is preferred.
