Job Description
Remote Project Manager driving Agile and predictive delivery for construction projects. Managing budgets, stakeholders, Scrum cadences, and long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Own project life cycles from initiation to closing
- Manage project baselines covering scope, schedule, cost, and quality
- Oversee portfolios with aggregate budgets of $1M+
- Define objectives, scope, budget, and schedule
- Monitor sprint completion and drive end-to-end milestone delivery
- Act as Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead across cross-functional teams
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Remove project impediments and utilize risk management frameworks
- Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with building SMEs to investigate and execute solutions to complex building problems
- Optimize resource allocation and team capacity across Sprints
- Conduct peer reviews of project artifacts, user stories, charter documents, and deliverables
- Mentor Project Coordinators and Project Assistants
- Share Agile and traditional project management best practices and foster continuous improvement
- Serve as primary Relationship Manager for assigned clients
- Drive long-term relationship health, organizational alignment, and revenue growth
- Broaden client relationships by bringing additional company representatives to key meetings
- Designate and prepare secondary relationship holders and execute account transition plans
- Facilitate executive sponsor check-ins, internal health reviews, and post-engagement reviews
- Maintain comprehensive account and engagement documentation
- Identify cross-selling and internal referral opportunities
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Active PMI-PMP (Project Management Institute-Project Management Professional) certification, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or equivalent Project Management certification
- 3–5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects using both waterfall/predictive and Agile/iterative frameworks
- Leadership to inspire and motivate project teams
- Effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Time and task management skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Budgeting and cost management skills
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, and Internet Research tools
- High attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing project, client, and company needs
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive and able to take initiative
- Ambitious and willing to exceed daily tasks
