Job Description
Senior Project Manager leading airport restaurant and retail construction programs for Sevan Multi-Site Solutions. Overseeing contractors, designers, budgets, schedules, and project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an owner’s representative leading programs consisting of multiple restaurant and retail tenant improvement projects inside airport terminals
- Act as an extension of the owner’s design and construction staff
- Oversee general contractors, designers, and vendors across multiple locations
- Lead full program delivery, including pre-construction services, bidding, permitting, and scheduling
- Oversee construction, change orders, invoicing, punch lists, and project closeout
- Support the Project Executive or Operations Director in developing project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
- Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant, client-standard delivery
- Serve as the primary client contact, communicate project updates, and resolve issues
- Source, negotiate, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and third-party providers
- Oversee estimating, bidding, permitting, and contract administration
- Manage project changes, documentation, and reporting according to Sevan standards and best practices
- Implement Sevan technology solutions to enhance project delivery
- Conduct project kickoffs and lessons-learned reviews
- Represent Sevan in client and project meetings
- Build relationships with clients, partners, and vendors
- Anticipate challenges and develop solutions to minimize risk and ensure project success
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field, or 10-15 years of relevant experience
- Commercial retail, restaurant, tenant improvement, rebuild, and ground up construction experience required
- 5-10+ years experience working directly on this type of work as a Project Manager or Senior PM
- Airport experience a plus, including ability to have/to get TSA clearance
- Proven expertise in construction project management, with strong knowledge of all phases from preconstruction through closeout
- Exceptional communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Smartsheets
- PMP certification preferred
- Qualified individuals must live in Seattle, WA
- Regional travel required 50-80% on an as needed basis, up to and including weekly site visits
- Multi-shift work may be required
- Ability to work in a full-time schedule
