Job Description

Senior Recruiter shaping talent acquisition strategies and full-cycle hiring for The Home Depot. Building diverse talent pipelines for North America’s largest home improvement retailer.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment efforts for assigned areas of The Home Depot Enterprise
  • Partner with HR Leaders and Talent Acquisition leadership to develop talent acquisition strategies
  • Manage the full lifecycle for all hires
  • Create recruitment strategies for Store Support Center functional groups
  • Monitor selection processes to support effective hiring decisions
  • Facilitate new recruitment initiatives and complete assigned special projects
  • Implement function-specific talent acquisition plans using strategic planning information
  • Acquire industry knowledge and competitive market data to inform staffing plans
  • Perform full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing strategy development with a focus on diversity
  • Assist with screening criteria, screening, interviewing, and salary negotiations
  • Maintain communication with business partners and resolve communication gaps
  • Execute recruitment plans to achieve staffing metrics, including candidate quality, throughput, and time to offer
  • Provide status reports on open requisitions and candidate throughput
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to meet talent acquisition goals
  • Develop and execute individualized sourcing strategies, including cold calling, networking, and engaging passive candidates
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local laws, company policies, and established procedures
  • Maintain appropriate recruiting recordkeeping
  • Assist with coordinating activities of Recruiters and Staffing Coordinators

Requirements:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • 5 plus years of corporate Talent Acquisition experience
  • Recruiting expertise and expert knowledge of internet search tools and strong sourcing strategies
  • Experience creating and executing a wide range of recruiting initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field is typically acquired for the role
  • High school diploma and/or GED
  • Corporate recruitment experience for a retailer preferred
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, equal opportunity laws, EEO, and OFCCP
  • Senior-level leadership, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while achieving staffing targets
  • Three plus years of experience administering behavioral interviews
  • No direct leadership experience required
  • Overnight travel requirement typically 0% to 10%
