Job Description

Senior Research Analyst supporting ICF’s education, substance-use prevention, and social-program research projects remotely. Developing mixed-method evaluations, data analyses, technical reports, and SAS code.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research and evaluation plans using various designs and mixed methods
  • Develop and implement analysis plans for qualitative and quantitative data
  • Contribute to technical reports for researchers and practitioners
  • Conduct comprehensive quality reviews of work products before client submission
  • Develop SAS code for longitudinal projects and review/refine existing code
  • Collaborate with research, evaluation, and analytic staff from varied backgrounds
  • Support proposal development for new work

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in education, public health, sociology, psychology, public policy, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative data collection, research analysis, and/or program evaluation
  • Experience contributing to high-quality, professionally written products and taking responsibility and ownership of research tasks
  • Expertise with SAS code
  • US citizenship
  • Ability to pass a background check/SF-86 background check, including no use of illicit substances (e.g., cannabis) in the past 7 years
  • Knowledge of prevention research and/or K-20 and/or adult education in the United States
  • Knowledge of experimental, quasi-experimental, and mixed method research designs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment while meeting stringent deadlines
  • Prior work experience in a consulting environment
  • Experience using SPSS, R, or Python
  • Experience creating data visualizations
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including experience developing and delivering presentations
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
