Job Description
Senior Revenue Integrity Specialist managing daily CDM workflow and ensuring compliance for Keck Medical Center. Leading initiatives for coding and charge capture improvement across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership to the daily CDM maintenance workflow
- Monitors alignment with standard policy for CDM maintenance
- Ensures timely and accurate synchronization of data between billing system and management tools
- Coordinates with various personnel on technology projects impacting charge entry
- Delivers direction on documentation of policies and procedures regarding CDM maintenance
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or similar/related field
- Certification from an accredited program of Certified Coder (CPC/CCS/COC) or Certificate of Auditing (CPMA) within one year from date of hire
- 5 years Experience in healthcare field required
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient billing requirements (UB-04) and CMS Medicare reimbursement methodology
- Knowledge of other government and third-party payer reimbursement methodology required
- Proficient skills and knowledge in MS Office/ Windows
