Job Description
Senior Scriptwriter creating TV, radio, podcast, UGC, and influencer content for Ethos Life’s insurance technology platform. Developing conversion-focused scripts across broadcast and paid social.
Responsibilities:
- Concept and write scripts for TV, radio, and podcast, including 15- and 30-second direct response formats, from brief through final delivery
- Write UGC scripts during TV production shoots and adapt them for paid social content across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
- Support influencer efforts with scripts, talking points, and creative direction
- Develop original creative territories and angles across broadcast and digital formats
- Attend TV and UGC shoots and help bring concepts to life on set
- Collaborate with the Creative Director of Offline, producers, video editors, and performance marketing
- Use AI tools where they genuinely improve speed while retaining personal writing judgment and taste
- Stay current on direct response, broadcast, radio, and creator-culture trends
- Write with a performance lens, including clear hooks, narrative arcs, and calls to action
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience writing for TV, radio, podcast, and paid social or UGC channels, with a portfolio spanning broadcast direct response and digital creator content
- Deep understanding of direct response creative for TV and radio, including building hooks and calls to action into 15- or 30-second formats
- Experience writing UGC and paid social scripts for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
- Experience writing for influencer partnerships and directing creators in their own voice
- Experience at TV and UGC shoots; comfortable on set and able to adapt scripts in the moment
- Strong understanding of performance creative and conversion-focused writing
- Fluent in AI tools for concepting and drafting
- Ability to generate a high volume of concepts without losing creative sharpness
- Collaborative and fast-moving; able to work with producers, editors, directors, and performance teams independently
