Job Description
Senior software engineer building dashboards, APIs, and AI-enabled applications for CVS Health’s payer operations. Developing scalable integrations, data visualizations, and DevOps automation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality web applications, interactive dashboards, and backend integration services
- Collaborate with engineering, data, product, and DevOps teams in a fast-paced agile environment
- Build modern user interfaces
- Integrate backend systems with complex data objects
- Embed AI capabilities into the application ecosystem
- Create intuitive data visualizations
- Build resilient APIs
- Leverage DevOps automation
- Scale modern application features across the enterprise
- Optimize Payer Operations
- Enrich Payer metadata
- Automate Payer lifecycle contracts
- Measure Payer performance
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience
- 3+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue and data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, or Recharts
- 3+ years of experience with backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, or C# and API design using REST or GraphQL
- Strong hands-on experience integrating applications with relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs, and complex data objects
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Practical experience or strong working knowledge integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or LLMs into software features
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting full stack applications, databases, and integration issues
- Hands-on experience with YAML configurations and automation scripting using Python, Shell, or PowerShell
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting file transfer, connectivity, security, and automation issues across cloud and hybrid environments
- Willingness to identify and implement continuous delivery best practices and take ownership within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self Starter mentality
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience
