Job Description
Senior Software Engineer building React microfrontends for BOLD, a company creating digital products that help millions find jobs. Owning frontend architecture, quality, and user-focused career tools.
Responsibilities:
- Build microfrontend apps from the ground up and maintain existing ones
- Embed microfrontend apps within host codebases to provide a great user experience
- Collaborate with Lead and Principal Engineers on monorepo architecture
- Support different deployment styles and use cases
- Maintain code quality through code reviews and automated-check improvements
- Provide guidance and share knowledge with less experienced colleagues
- Work primarily on CSR frontend apps, with occasional SSR and orchestration-layer backend services
- Meet with business stakeholders to discuss goals and requirements
- Analyze designs in Figma and plan work
- Set boundaries for responsibilities delegated to other teams
- Act as a proxy for other developers, guide their work by example, and resolve blockers
- Participate in team rituals and proactively solve problems and communicate
- Deliver two-week sprint work through continuous integration and rolling production deployments
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience developing high-availability B2C applications
- Deep understanding of, and good intuition for, the CSR TypeScript + React stack
- Expertise in frontend best practices, readable/extensible/maintainable code, performance-aware decisions, and user experience optimization
- Experience using the listed libraries and tools
- Ability to model and reason about multi-purpose monorepo codebases and make architectural decisions
- Product-driven, customer-first thinking
- Experience debugging static and runtime issues in mixed-ownership environments
- Experience implementing and maintaining feature flags, A/B tests, and extensive conditional rendering
- Ability to reason through technical decisions with other engineering teams
- Maturity to guide and coach others
- Spoken and written English at least B2 level
- Spoken and written Polish at least C1 level
- Experience with Grafana, Faro, Alloy, and Loki
- Experience architecting and implementing vector embedding-based solutions for medium to large volumes of text
- Willingness to implement agentic AI workflows
