Job Description
Senior Solution Architect designing IP/MPLS architectures for major service providers. Working on complex network scenarios with a focus on maximum service availability.
Responsibilities:
- Advising our service provider customers on the further development of their networks
- Developing solution concepts for IP-/MPLS-based networks and services and documenting them in High Level and Low Level Designs
- Automating operational processes in complex network environments
- Testing and implementing concepts and detailed solutions
- Preparing and delivering training sessions and workshops
- Providing technical guidance to team members on projects
- Presenting our solutions to management and technical teams
- Participating in remote on-call duties
Requirements:
- Degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or equivalent qualification through practical experience, plus vendor certifications (Juniper, Nokia)
- Many years of hands-on experience in planning and implementing carrier networks
- Very good (ideally certified) knowledge of Juniper or Nokia and experience in Network Automation
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
- Team player with analytical thinking and strong communication skills
- Fluent German skills, good English skills
