Job Description
Senior Solution Engineer at Snowflake solving complex customer problems and closing large deals. Engage with sales team and channel partners, leveraging technology to demonstrate business value.
Responsibilities:
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors
- Work hands-on with prospects to demonstrate and communicate Snowflake technology value
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive technologies and how to position Snowflake
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake’s products
Requirements:
- 7-8 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment
- Outstanding presenting skills to technical and executive audiences
- Industry experience within the Department of War or Defense Intelligence Base preferred
- Broad range of experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
- Ability to connect customer’s specific business problems with Snowflake’s solutions
- Ability to conduct deep customer architecture discovery and align it with Snowflake Data Architecture
- Proactive curiosity for the AI landscape
- Proven ability to leverage AI code generation tools to enhance productivity
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience with GSIs beneficial, but not required
