Job Description
Senior Solutions Architect at FCamara overseeing high complexity technology solutions. Ensuring alignment with business, product, engineering, data, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Solutions Architect and serve as the technical reference for teams
- Design and evolve architectures for complex, distributed, and scalable systems
- Define architectural patterns, best practices, and technical guidelines
- Evaluate and propose solutions considering performance, security, scalability, cost, and reliability
- Support development teams in implementing architectural solutions
- Define integrations between systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Work closely with Tech Leads, DevOps/SRE, data and product teams
- Ensure appropriate observability practices (logs, metrics, traces, SLOs) are incorporated from solution design
- Support technical decisions during discovery, pre-sales and product evolution phases
- Contribute to risk analysis, technical trade-offs and mitigation of architectural issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Architect or equivalent role
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with microservices, APIs, messaging and event-driven architectures
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as data platforms
- Experience with observability, security and technical governance
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Systems thinking, critical thinking and solution orientation
- Experience with data-oriented architecture, analytics or AI
- Experience with SRE, reliability and platform engineering
- Experience in enterprise or mission-critical environments
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Previous involvement in large-scale projects or digital transformation initiatives
