Job Description
Starbucks specialist advising licensed coffeehouses on openings, operations, training, and performance. Leading cross-functional initiatives and coaching licensees to improve business results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead new store opening readiness by planning, coordinating, and executing operational strategies
- Serve as a trusted business partner to licensees, using operational expertise, performance insights, and strategic consultation to drive sustainable business results
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives by aligning stakeholders, managing priorities, mitigating risks, and delivering outcomes that support organizational objectives
- Strengthen operational capability and continuous improvement through coaching, training, process optimization, and scalable solutions
- Help licensees successfully open, operate, and grow Starbucks coffeehouses
- Deliver exceptional new store opening experiences and strengthen operational performance across the licensed coffeehouse portfolio
Requirements:
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to leverage data, insights, and sound judgment to drive operational and business results
- Exceptional consulting, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Strong project management, planning, and prioritization capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive execution in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel up to 90%, including domestic and international travel
- Ability to work variable hours, including nights and weekends, as business needs require
- Three (3) years of retail, restaurant, hospitality, or quick-service restaurant operations management experience
- Two (2) years of operational training, facilitation, coaching, consulting, or learning and development experience
- Experience leading or supporting cross-functional operational initiatives, new store openings, or business projects and initiatives
- Experience using operational and business performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve results
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across competing priorities
- Experience working within licensed, franchise, or multi-unit retail business models
- Professional proficiency in French preferred
- Current valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport for international travel
