Job Description
Senior Staff Engineer designing SmartStream TLM reconciliation and workflow solutions for Nagarro, a digital product engineering company. Leading banking integrations, automation, deployments, and enterprise delivery across global teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-scale reconciliation and workflow solutions using SmartStream TLM
- Lead requirement gathering sessions, discovery workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Architect scalable, modular solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
- Configure, customize, and support TLM implementations, upgrades, and performance tuning
- Design AI-enabled and automated workflows to improve operational efficiency
- Work on reconciliation processes across Cards, Payments, General Ledger, Nostro, and VAT
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, PoCs, and prototypes
- Manage integrations with core banking platforms, APIs, middleware, and file-based interfaces
- Support UAT, production deployments, post-implementation validation, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Business teams to deliver enterprise solutions
- Participate in product roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and solution strategy discussions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements
- Work within Agile delivery frameworks and global delivery teams across APAC, EMEA, and US regions
Requirements:
- 7.5+ years of experience
- Strong experience in SmartStream TLM implementation, customization, administration, and support
- Expertise in reconciliation systems covering Cards, Payments, GL, Nostro, and VAT reconciliation
- Banking domain experience
- Strong understanding of financial transaction lifecycle and reconciliation operations
- Experience in enterprise workflow architecture and process orchestration
- Knowledge of data mapping, ETL processes, data pipelines, and CSV, XML, and SWIFT file formats
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Flexcube or other core banking systems
- Strong knowledge of Oracle/SQL databases and query optimization
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments and Shell or Python scripting
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and enterprise integrations
- Experience integrating systems through APIs, middleware, and file-based interfaces
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
