Job Description
Senior Engineer at Vesputi developing the Mobilitybox backend for sustainable urban mobility solutions. Design and implement ticketing interfaces for public transportation across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the first open, fully standardized ticketing interface across Europe as part of a highly efficient and committed team.
- Design and build backend services that provide our partners with the easiest-to-integrate and most reliable ticketing interface on the market.
- Integrate and harmonize different ticketing standards and fare systems.
- Continuously improve our services by developing new features for our partners.
Requirements:
- Experience developing open interfaces, ideally in the context of public transport or mobility.
- Solid understanding of public transit ticketing systems and technologies such as VDV-KA, Motics, UIC barcodes, and ION.
- A strong user perspective: you seek to understand how the tools you build are used by clients and keep that perspective in mind.
- A proactive mindset: you aim not just to execute tasks but to contribute actively with your knowledge, skills, and ideas toward our vision.
- A passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to sustainable mobility.
- Advanced proficiency in German and English.
