Job Description
Senior Travel Consultant handling marine and crew travel requests for BCD Travel. Using Amadeus to manage rotations, disruptions, customer consultations, and operational support remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer requests accurately and efficiently via phone, email, and other channels
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business customers and provide active travel consultation
- Provide travel details and up-sell related products
- Use BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
- Anticipate and assist with potential customer challenges
- Respond promptly and provide undivided attention to customer requests
- Review operational processes and commercial relationships and suggest improvements
- Perform quality management, including error management
- Assist in assigned projects related to operations
- Meet individual and team goals
- Provide day-to-day assistance to team members and direction on policies and procedures
- Coach travel consultants when the team lead is absent
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments
- Hands-on expertise managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurately under pressure
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi-regional operations setup
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes
- Advanced skills on GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills
- Flexibility to work day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Full-time availability
